Affordable Homes for Over 50s in Hounslow

We are Isleworth & Hounslow Charity Ltd (Charity Number: 1112467), an affordable almshouse housing provider registered with the Regulator of Social Housing. With a proud 350-year history, we are committed to supporting those in financial or housing need across Hounslow. Our latest low-density development at 462 Staines Road will provide high-quality and truly affordable homes for older residents, designed to foster independent living in a peaceful environment set in extensive gardens. These homes will be permanently available for affordable rent, ensuring long-term housing stability for those in need.

This project will deliver well-designed, spacious one- and two-bedroom homes built to Housing our Ageing Population Panel for Innovation (HAPPI) standards, ensuring accessibility and comfort. Additionally, the scheme includes a new educational zone and extensive environmental improvements that integrate with Hounslow Heath, creating a sustainable and welcoming space for residents and the wider community.

Our Ethos

Our ethos is to support those in financial or housing need in the London Borough of Hounslow and we have been doing so since our inception.

We provide affordable housing for people over 50 years old, depending on which site and offer grants to individuals and organisations across Hounslow to help alleviate hardship and unforeseen challenges.

The existing site forms part of the car boot sale site at 462 Staines Road, Hounslow. The existing former garden centre buildings have become disused over time and have become unsightly, as well as attracting anti-social behaviour.
